Love my #13.

"Go out there and do amazing things."

My grandson, Cole is a senior this year.  Soccer is his main sport and he will be playing soccer in college.  He had his very last game on Thursday.  They lost in the District Finals in 2 overtimes on an offsides goal.  It was a hard way to lose, but it was to the returning PIAA AA State Champions.  We played them tough.

Cole has Lymes Disease and suffered all season with fatigue, aches and pain.  It was hard watching him struggle at times, but he never gave up, always worked through the pain.

He was the teams co-caption 2 years in a  row.

I always love watching him play so hard and scoring goals.

Since he was always a goal threat, he was always marked.

AND - usually taken down hard.

He was on the Prom Court at half time.

A team leader.

A favorite to many of the town's youth players.

He always led his team in prayer before the games.

He is a wonderful grandson and we will miss him next year in this uniform, BUT we are willing to drive 5 hours to Geneva College and watch him in his college career!

PROM 2017

"A good snapshot stops a moment from running away."

Last night was the Prom.  Cole wan't sure if he wanted to go. I don't know what changed his mind.  I had to laugh, he had his white Nike socks on and his Mom told him to put black socks on.

His sisters loved the way he looked.  They aren't used to seeing him so dressed up.

The corsage was fastened to 3 bracelets and he was afraid that he would break them.

It was cold and rainy, so we didn't have many options for pictures.

Sisters Chloe and Cali, needed to get in on the act.  Cali loves her brother so much, she always worries when he goes out, especially with a girl.

Since everyone else was getting their picture taken with this handsome boy, I decided the Grandma's should also.  I wasn't dressed for the occasion, but what the heck!

Softball With Cali

"We could never have loved the earth so well if we had had no children in it."

Cali loves playing softball.  The weather has been so crazy, last night the sun was so hot and
tonight a cold wind was bowing.  I was freezing, and so were the girls.

She hasn't been hitting the ball real hard, but at least she is hitting.  It's still early in the season.

She loves it when she can steal while on base.

AND score a run!

We won the game, but I don't know the score.  I was too busy taking pictures!
